Team Leadership

At the American Society of Addiction Medicine, I led an 8-person instructional design team and served as Lead Instructional Designer on the organization's flagship CME course, Fundamentals of Addiction Medicine. I was responsible for project assignments, quality standards, and professional development for the team.

At the Florida Institute for Child Welfare, I currently supervise direct reports across instructional design and program coordination and lead the Academic Innovation unit, which covers experiential learning, digital badging, interprofessional simulation, and faculty development.

Program Building

I introduced FICW's first digital badge program for graduate and undergraduate social work students. I led development of simulation programming for a 6,000 square foot experiential learning lab, expanding its use in social work courses and building faculty training capacity for problem-based learning.

At ASAM, I helped design and evaluate course products for a membership of 7,000 professionals, and engineered the team's pivot of 54 conference sessions to virtual, on-demand formats in three weeks during COVID-19.

Institutional Partnerships

Much of my current work involves building relationships with universities across Florida to expand access to simulation-based learning. This requires coordinating across academic, administrative, and clinical stakeholders with different priorities and constraints.
